Monbat’s lithium-ion batteries’ business segment is a new business stream, whereby Monbat plans to revitalise the strengths of the recently acquired Gaia and EAS Germany, fused into one strong business model.

Focus on one chemistry (LFP) brings sizable benefits to a range of factors, such as high power capability, indisputable safety, a high cycle life, fast charge and outstanding power density (W/kg and W/I) as well as a competitive price (EUR/kW).
The adopted cylindrical cells technology and the modular-based packing approach of the battery and systems allows EAS to maintain its attractive product range of High Power (HP) batteries for selected industries such as public transport, commercial fleet, construction machines, marine, harbor and airport operations.
Tailor-made HP solutions are already adopted for aerospace and defense, and prominent business partners such as NASA are already powered by EAS cells.
High Power and High Energy solutions business model
1
Mass Production
Uniformity in the production process by keeping one leading chemistry LFP, limiting cell variety to 4 seamless cell formats and streamlined production process to increase throughput and high quality rate
3
Go-to-market
The commercialisation will follow two concurrent ‘go-to-market’ channels aiming to scale up a sustainable organic business by introducing an EASy batteries product range, while focusing on selected long-term and client specific technology edge solutions.
2
Mass Customisation
Tailor-made client/modular fit
Ability to apply ‘mass customisation’ to a wide range of products by nesting the cells into ‘easy to configure’ modules, which go into ‘easy to bundle’ batteries and culminate into ‘easy to fit’ battery systems
